    Hm<br>

    How about we have a coordinated mapping party weekend across the US
    in something like September? Aim to get a party in every state?<br>
    <br>
    That gives us a nice goal, a long time to organize plus we could
    coordinate for national press if we're clever.<br>

          I've been to a successful mapping party in NYC, which was run
          by CloudMade.  The <a moz-do-not-send="true"
            href="http://meetup.com" target="_blank">meetup.com</a>
          group still exists, and someone is funding it.  I don't know
          anyone specific who is still working with it though.<br>

          I believe Lancaster, PA is still trying to have monthly
          meetups as well.<br>
