Hi. Sorry to be confusing. Yes, the blue parts are where the old TIGER mess had already been corrected by 2006, so what was imported is still correct as far as TIGER knows (although perhaps still not right in reality). The magenta parts are where TIGER has changed since the import and are good candidates for retracing.

However a lot of the magenta has been independently fixed in OSM. It would be more useful to check the TIGER Battle Grid or the composite TIGER layer in iD to see where major discrepancies remain. I'm not sure what methodology Green Means Go uses so I hope Mike Migurski can clarify that.

I've been trying to understand what work has happened to help the
TIGER-fixup process. Because there was so much going on, I found it
useful to summarize my learnings in a diary entry. Posting it here in
case someone else finds it useful:

Am I right in thinking that according to Eric Fischer's diff of Tiger
2013 and Tiger 2006, TIGER had "finished" correcting the blue parts of
this map when we imported them -- http://i.imgur.com/mooFiXr.png and
the magenta parts were fixed by 2010, and were therefore not a part of
the import?

Overlaying the magenta areas with user densities, and picking off area
that have no users seems like obvious candidate for using the new
TIGER data. I feel like this is what "Green Means Go" tries to do, but
I dont quite see a similar pattern in that map, so I'm confused about
what is actually going on.
