Keypadmapper has squared, how do you prevent IP leakage from

I've been very happy with Google's "My Tracks" app:
It's pretty easy to use just hit "record", then allows the
addition of markers & photos while recording -- though
I have only used markers myself.
After one is done recording, the track can be exported as
a GPX file and then sent to a computer via
USB/Bluetooth/Dropbox or any other transfer method enabled
on your phone.

I've also tried doing surveys with OsmAnd, but found that
the recording was much less stable and would often get
interrupted and need to be restarted -- quite frustrating.
Keep in mind that keypadmapper is spyware :-)
In all seriousness, it
uploads locations and cell ids to a public database
whenever it's
running. If you're out explicitly doing mapping, that
might be fine at
times, but it's bad behavior in general and I must
therefore recommend
against recommending it.
