<div dir="ltr">Hi all, <div><br></div><div>A quick update on this. The Local working group met again yesterday. Clifford is finishing up the list of active local groups. We are thinking we should merge it with the list on <a href="https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/WikiProject_United_States">https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/WikiProject_United_States</a> that is pretty outdated. That page could do with an update anyway, if you have ideas for what should be on the landing page for the US on the OSM wiki, just go in and add them. A new editing interface was recently installed by our fantastic OSM systems administrator Grant, and editing the wiki has become VERY easy. Give it a try.</div><div><br></div><div>I also created a new wiki page for the Local WG with links to the meeting notes and some basic info: <a href="https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Foundation/Local_Chapters/United_States/Local_Working_Group">https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Foundation/Local_Chapters/United_States/Local_Working_Group</a> </div><div><br></div><div>We plan to meet every other week on Monday 5pm PT for now. Anyone who has ideas or is curious about how to support / encourage more local groups is more than welcome to join. Or share your ideas on this thread. For those who like Slack, we have a slack channel also, here: <a href="https://osmus.slack.com/">https://osmus.slack.com/</a> (a sign up link is here: <a href="https://osmus-slack.herokuapp.com/">https://osmus-slack.herokuapp.com/</a> . </div><div><br></div><div>Clifford will follow up once the list of local groups is updated. He will also reach out to all local organizers individually. Stay tuned!</div><div><br></div><div>Martijn</div></div><br><div class="gmail_quote"><div dir="ltr">On Tue, Jan 12, 2016 at 2:43 PM Steven Johnson <<a href="mailto:sejohnson8@gmail.com">sejohnson8@gmail.com</a>> wrote:<br></div><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0 0 0 .8ex;border-left:1px #ccc solid;padding-left:1ex"><div dir="auto"><div>Yes, I'm participating in the HOT Training WG to provide overlap & continuity.
