<html><head></head><body>I'm sorry, but the closest thing to toxicity I've seen are the overly vehement objections to the mere gathering of data. It might be worth examining why someone gathering demographic data is causing such a strong reaction.<br>

I sincerely cannot comprehend why anyone would be against this. I can see "meh," I can see how someone might find it interesting or maybe even useful, and I can even understand finding it totally useless and asking why someone else finds it interesting. I can't find any reasonable objection to the voluntary collection of demographic data regarding OSM editors and I especially can't find any basis to say that it is in any way divisive or "gender-baiting."<br>

If you don't like it, maybe just ignore it since it doesn't affect you in any way except receiving an extra email.<br>
