Reading this, it smells like "a group of land managers is going to<br>
remove data from OSM that they don't like even if it is accurate". Can<br>
you point to someplace public that talks more about this "initiative",<br>
who the members are, and why we should be confident that the actions<br>
taken are in line with OSM community norms?<br>

I second Mike's concerns in general, and find the phrasing "official and<br>
approved sources" concerning. This is effectively an import, and it<br>
appears not to be doing the quality control required to validate that<br>
this "official" data is accurate enough.<br>

Also, it looks like people that don't accept Slack's terms are excluded<br>
from participaing or finding out what is going on.<br>
