[OSM-talk] Large rivers ways intersections and also plugins question

     I attatched a screenshot of where I have several large rivers intersecting near each other and wondered at the proper ways creation as the interior portion to the intersection could be part of multiple water features and was unsure as how ways should capture that. One problem is that ways might have to stop at at intersection from all eight directions at a cross intersection (one major river being intersected by two minor rivers at or near the same point). Will OSM be able to figure out how to render this successfully? Do I need to create interior ways to the intersection to close in the way for each (riverbank-river) feature?
     The other question was when it says "activate plugin" in instructions for JOSM, how do I activate the plugin, epecially the new validator plugin and the WMS plugin.
