Even if the image is copyrighted (which is, in itself, not granted), would
writing down factual information from the picture be derived work?
Here is a picture of an airplane, with some additional information:
Is the statement "Flugfélag Íslands used Fokker 50, which is an airplane
with 6 blade propellers, in 1998" derived work?
There are no simple answers here, even if the questions are simple.
