I basically meant that it is up to the renderer to decide if it wants
to display street names in roundabouts if the adjacent streets have
same name. This decision could be based on the space needed to print
the name and the size of the roundabout on the map, for example. It is
basically the same thing as with all roads that are created with lots
of segments (e.g. roads with bridges): It is the renderer's job to
decide on which parts to put the street name. If we delete the name
from parts of a street because we do not want the name printed there on
the map, we might make it impossible use locations along these parts as
destinations in a routing application.
