Hi Frank,<br><br>I think the problem is that there are no time-stamps associated with your trace. The parser rejects and points that do not have an associated time stamp.<br><br>The OSM parser/renderer does not discard duplicate points - only ones that it thinks are 'corrupt' - ie have missing elements.
<br><br>I think you proeduced the file using Map Source? I didnt know that it could convert to GPX. THere may be some setting somewhere that allow you to select which fields it converts - though it is a very budget piece of software - so maybe not. Have you tried GPSBabel? It runs on virtually any platform and is free. Download it from
