IANAL but it seems to me the rights they claim effectively give them "ownership" of a copy of the photo. The only difference is that you own an exactly identical copy.<br><br>As for the photos being worthless... look at like this: If you owned a database containing photographs of *every* square yard of the populated planet, except for the places containing street signs, how much would it be worth to fill the missing squares? In a street of anonymous identical houses, the street sign is one of the slightly more interesting things.
