<P>(In responce to the replies) I agree there should be no 'competativeness', but simply recognision or reward. I did not know anything about an auto track creating tool/function in josm, but that would be one point against why to use the amount of edits. If the tool is used then the uploaded data could be labelled and excluded from the count.</P>
<P>I don't mean to inply that the current rewarding method of counting uploaded points means that the people that have the megastar don't deserve it; quite the oposite. I'm just surpirsed at the method of wich it was judged.</P>
<P>Andy Robinsons responce gave me more reasons to think this. </P>
<P>I don't mean to make this conversation have any real inportance, or drag it on, cause the rewarding thing should just be a bit of fun. It should give insentive to people without giving implications that incorrect data gathering methods are prefered.<BR><BR>Ben </P></DIV>
