Up to now I have been using a 256Mb SD card that I bought at an airport somewhere. It appears to be some kind of generic brand - I can't find anything that looks like it for sale on the web. Anyway this has been working perfectly for me.
<br><br>Now I have just bought a SanDisk Ultra II 1.0Gb card (£18 from Amazon). So far it has been working fine but I've only been using it for 4 days so it is too early to tell.<br><br>One other card I tried (can't remember what) just didn't work at all.
<br><br>I got the following note from Michael Shih at Scytex a while back: "<font color="#0000ff" face="Arial" size="2">Regarding the SD card issue, we regret that that
NAVi GPS doesn't support all the SD cards from different vendors. In
general, it supports the SD card with 2.85VDC. Please check the
voltage of SD card you were using. If not, please try another SD card that
supports 2.85VDC. W are drafting a note for the user to select proper SD
cards, we will release it when complete. We apologize for the

From experience with SD cards ( sadly not the Navi GPS, but as soon as<br>I'm next paid :) ) the smaller the better and branded media. I'm not<br>sure why but out of all the various pieces of equipment that I have used<br>
SD cards with, it has been that above 512, no matter who is on the label<br>it can be flaky, under that I have always had best results with the<br>branded media (in my case Kingston, just cheap when I bought a load of<br>
