Osmarender will render a suitably tagged way as an area.<br><br>To make something that will render as an area do the following:<br>1 Create a way and tag it with amenity=parking or landuse=commercial or whatever<br>2 Make sure that the segments all point in the same direction
<br>3 Make sure that the segments are ordered in a linear sequence in the way<br><br>There is no *need* to close the way as an implied line will be drawn between the end and start anyway, but normally the way should be closed.
