Dominic<br>The motivation that drove the establishment of the foundation was mainly that of providing some limitation of liability.  It was also a step to reduce dependence on Steve and reduce demands on his time.<br><br>Since its creation it has been incorporated as a not-for-profit limited company.  Some progress has been made on the financial side with some trickle funding from donations, commission on GPS sales, Amazon merchandising and the like.  We have an income of around £50 - £100 per month at the moment.  This is enough to fund a new server occassionally and some promotional activities.
<br><br>There is a need to follow through on the original provisional membership plan to produce a full blown membership scheme.  I think we'd gladly welcome and support anyone who was volunteering to make this happen.<br>
