The thought just occured to me that being able to
have a map layer in the yahoo applet that could load GPX traks from some file on
my desktop or preloaded on some server would be infinitely usefull in my
mapping enterprises. It is hard to locate where I am working in "new" areas as
they are featureless in mpa and I have to pan around in imagery to locate
feature zoomed way out which is time consuming.

Another thought was
to have a JOSM intaller that puts all the plugins in the
right directory and has the working correctly as I haven't been
able to get any extensions working. Simplifiying the installation of a robust
editing environment for non techies could only speed up maturation of the
collective database.
