I was working the boggy uploads and was checking an area that had been correct on the server i.e it was complete and the way I wanted it. I did a number of failed uploads and when rechecking the ways they were all duplicate line-node-segmented ways. So after deleting from my desktop I re-downloaded the same data and there was no problem. What is strange is I did no editing on the data itself.
