are carried on public transport along a ‘route’ defined using the
route relation of type=railway. I would suggest that the road network is
connected to the railway station at each end and possibly also to one or more railway
platforms (but that is not yet an approved feature). A route then needs to be
created linking the stations with motorcar=yes. In time we can then define
timetables for trains on this route between these stations. We can also define
bicycle=yes for routes where bicycles can be carried etc.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

Similarly, I put the terminal where it is, and join the route=ferry to<br>
the highway=service through the carpark (if that's how it is) & then to<br>
the main roads in the usual fashion, on the basis that that's what's<br>
there. Obviously foot ferries need a footway instead, and train stations<br>
have a similar arrangement (or ought to..)<br>
