Hi,

I've seen some modifications in my area with a "BugMeNot" user [1][2]. As the bugmenot.com says: "BugMeNot.com was created as a mechanism to quickly bypass the login of web sites that
require compulsory registration", so using this site anyone can edit areas with a shared (anonymous) user. I think it is not a good idea to share the same database user with different physical users, since we can't contact them in case of wrong edits, vandalism or copyright issues.

Bugmenot can block a site from its database if: "Community: users register only to add/change content (but not to view)" [2], so I think we qualify for site blocking. However, it needs site admin privileges to do it. Could some admin add a block, please?

Do you know other sites like bugmenot we should ban? What about the already existing bugmenot users, should we block them and undo their edits?

Regards,
Quico

[1] http://www.bugmenot.com/view/openstreetmap.org
