Maybe the answer is to modify the map features table and add columns for mapnik, osmarender,
cyclemap, etc. Maybe getting rid of the generic rendering column and making it rendering for each of the viewers. What do you think? <br><br>I think there is a wysiwyg media wiki plugin that might make editing the table easier. If we have something like this, it may make managing the table less time consuming so we can keep it up to date with all the newest official tags and how they look with each of the renders.

wish we could have a wiki page that describes tags which are supported
by at least one of the major renderers (main mapnik, osmarender,
cyclemap), routing software or widely used. Now a number of tags on map
features are very rarely used or even usable (bus_guideway) or
generally not rendered (path).<br> <br>As it is now, I think map features is confusing and often of little help when trying to find the "best" way to tag a feature.</body>
