I don't know about documentation, but it is in the list of presets in JOSM.<br></blockquote><div><br>Yeah, I find this situation very weird. It seems there are four places to check when considering whether a tag exists:<br>
1) The wiki (where it could be in the Map Features page, individual Tag: pages etc...)<br>2) The presets of the various editors (JOSM, Potlatch, Mekaartor [sp])...<br>3) What the various rendererers support (Mapnik, Osmarender, ...)<br>
4) What people are actually using, according to Tagwatch.<br><br>How did it get to be like this? Did no one clamour for an official standard list? I understand that it's easier to just start using a tag than get it officialised, but ... what a mess.<br>
