As of now, the high-resolution aerial photographs of the Dortmund company Aerowest <a href="http://www.aerowest.de">http://www.aerowest.de</a> for the area of the city of Dortmund are available. For a pilot project which has Aerowest GmbH orthophotos from the year 2009 provided with a ground resolution of 5 cm per pixel are available for unlimited use until 30.06.2010.<div>

<meta charset="utf-8"><div><br></div><div>The aim of the project</div><div><div>Aerowest supported Openstreetmap and promises this strategic cooperation to new insights into how free geographic information can be useful for commercial spatial data providers.</div>
<div>In particular, hoped Aerowest a collection of house numbers are clearly better than commercial providers currently able to deliver. If successful, this pilot project is being considered by Aerowest to release aerial photographs of other towns for the OSM community. </div>
