When I lived in Japan, almost all place names included the place type,<br>

handled--not an easy thing!<br></blockquote></div><br>Yes I agree. We should contact the Japanese community to have their input.<br>Japanese addresses are so interesting on so many different level. In addition, they have started recently to import administrative boundaries and there are some free sources (Japanese government) on chome data (center of gravity). Most of that data is very similar to the data that Zenrin holds.<br>
