<div dir="ltr"><div><div><div><div><div>Hi,<br><br>Apart of this welcome change (thanks Frederik !), I'd like to mention some recent enhancements in JOSM's associatedStreet relations support:<br><br></div>- Revision 5644 (tomorrow's latest) brings a bunch of validator checks targeted to addresses coherence. These checks are well known to French-speaking mappers as they are the same as performed by Osmose [1].<br>
</div>- Revisions 5614/5615/5624/5625 (last week) enabled an automatic role detection when using preset dialog and relation editor. If you add some highway or addr:housenumber to an associatedStreet relation, the role will be automatically filled.<br>
</div>- Revision 5516 and 5603 (already included in current tested version) allowed to sort members according to their addr:housenumber value.<br><br></div>I hope all these changes will ease addresses mapping.<br><br></div>

</div>Have a look at the cadastre JOSM plugin addressing tool, it is so much<br>
faster... a single click for each address.<br>
<br>
1) open the addressing tool,<br>
2) click on the street way<br>
3) set the first house number, select the increment +1/+2/-1/-2<br>
4) each next click will create the address node/tags, with the<br>
associatedStreet relation or not (set that in the plugin preferences)<br>
<br>
click + shift -> no increment<br>
click + ctrl -> double increment<br>
