Why not keep the "© Openstreetmap contributors" bit and add a "Report an issue / Add to the map" type button or text? This would then link to a very simple page as proposed (but themed to better match OSMs brand) which also explains how to add a bug/notice using [1] and how to get more involved with editing using Potlatch2 / iD.<br>
