Hi,<br>
<br>
I have a question regarding to programmatic trace file upload to OSM
via the API. I hope I'm at the right place to ask here.<br>
<br>
According to
<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/API_v0.6#Uploading_traces">http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/API_v0.6#Uploading_traces</a>, the
fields are file, description, tags, public, and visibility. However
on OSM website upload page
(<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://www.openstreetmap.org/trace/create">http://www.openstreetmap.org/trace/create</a>), it says
<meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html;
charset=ISO-8859-1">
trace_gpx_file, trace_gpx_description, trace_tagstring,
trace_visibility. Does that mean the API documentation is out of
date or am I missing something?<br>
<br>
And is <a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://api.openstreetmap.org">http://api.openstreetmap.org</a> synonymous with
<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://www.openstreetmap.org">http://www.openstreetmap.org</a>? It seems sometimes I get redirected to
the www site when I type in the api site. <br>
<br>
Also, when doing manual trace file upload via the browser with the
developmental site:
<meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html;
charset=ISO-8859-1">
<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://api06.dev.openstreetmap.org/">http://api06.dev.openstreetmap.org/</a>, uploaindg just doesn't work for
me.<br>
