The expression is "don't tag *incorrectly* for the renderer".
There's nothing wrong with adding tags to assists renderings &
there's far more than just the mapnik render.<br>
<br>
<font size="-1"><big>landuse=residential & building=yes are not
mutually exclusive.</big></font> <font size="-1"><big>Landuse=Residential
is useful to show the extent of towns etc without </big></font>the
overhead of detailing all the buildings.<br>
