One of OSM’s strengths is, or should be, that we are a truly worldwide map. Multilingual names are part of this. Excluding actual names from the map database as “ought not” is no different from omitting casinos in a stand against gambling or leaving the road
number of the high street in your town off the map.<br>
<br>
It is unfortunate that a few people have sought to limit the contribution of names by our mappers.<br>
