<p>Some features have the opposite problem - you have to be at a certain altitude/distance to see it, for example due to miniscule height differences and subtle changes in vegetation. Often long-disused rail track beds are in this category. Being on the ground may actually be a disadvantage in these cases.</p>

<div>I can accept local mappers being on the ground and despite looking hard (and asking who has originally added the thing to OSM) not finding any traces, to remove it, but I do not think it is acceptable to remove former railways because you can not identify them on aerial imagery. I think the documentation should be explicit here.</div>
