If the data is good, then there is absolutely no reason to revert it, other than spite because they "broke the rules." By all means reach out and talk to them and ask if they can discuss and document their edits, but the priority is the map data, not hurt feelings over strict adherence to rules.</span>

<br> <span style="font-family:sans-serif">Now if this edit is full of garbage that is of no or negative value, then yes, a revert would seem appropriate. But it doesn't sound like your concern is the quality of the data.</span>
