The call for participation for this year’s State of the Map closed a couple
of hours ago.

It’s been a while since we last had the deadline on a Sunday evening. We
had some feedback that this wasn’t ideal because many of you are busy
on the weekends with friends and family. So after some discussion with
the StateOfTheMap working group we have decided to keep the submission
site open until Wednesday, May 21, 23:59:59 UTC.

This gives you 3 more days to hand in the proposal for your talk. Go
over to https://pretalx.com/sotm2025/cfp and fill out the form. We
accept submissions for talks that are held on stage in Manila, as
well as for pre-recorded talks to be delivered remotely.

Looking forward to seeing you in Manila and online.
