<p>Sorry for taking so long to reply, was kind of hoping others would have this issue but apparently either mod_tile isn't widely adapted or I'm too bleeding edge, or it's a unique case.</p>
<p>I got to 18.04 via the dist upgrade process. The fresh install I have was from 16.04 I believe. I regularly do the every 6 month upgrade cycle so not to fall behind on technology as my computer is for learning and gaming, I do not run a business/monitize/etc.</p>
<p>I am on a Intel Core i7 4790k 64 bit w/ 32 GB of RAM. 2 TB OS drive and 5 TB data drive.</p>
