<div dir="ltr"><div><div>Hi All,<br><br></div>I'm having a bit of trouble with this map: <a href="http://umap.openstreetmap.fr/en/map/virtual-cartographies-visualizing-mass-grave-recov_97719#5/39.198/3.845">http://umap.openstreetmap.fr/en/map/virtual-cartographies-visualizing-mass-grave-recov_97719#5/39.198/3.845</a><br><br></div><div>If there is more than one pin in the same geographic location from different layers, only one pin shows on the map for that spot--you cannot see that there are other materials underneath. The only way to view the data points beneath is to toggle off the top-most layer. This is less than ideal, as most people won't realize there are additional materials related to that location and only have the ability to click on the top-most point. You can look at Madrid, for example. When you toggle off the different media layers, you will see other materials revealed beneath. <br><br>Is there any way to resolve this issue? Is there a setting to cluster together points from different layers if they share the same coordinates? I played with the opacity, but that still doesn't show the points beneath. Changing the icon shape helps, but it looks a bit messy. Also there are only 4 default shapes and I have 8 layers. Any ideas would be GREATLY appreciated, as I'm set to present on this next week!!<br><br></div><div>I hope this makes sense and many, many thanks as always!<br><br></div><div>Wendy<br></div><div><div><div><br></div><div>PS - I recommend turning off the mass grave layer (grey dots) to view the digital texts (colored drops), as the "drop" icons are the ones that are hiding beneath one another.<br></div><div>-- <br><div class="gmail_signature"><div dir="ltr"><div><div dir="ltr"><div><div dir="ltr"><br style="font-family:arial;font-size:small"><div dir="ltr" style="font-family:arial;font-size:small"><div><span style="font-size:13px;font-family:tahoma"><font color="003366"><font color="003366"><b>Wendy Perla Kurtz</b></font> </font></span><span style="font-family:tahoma;font-size:13px"><font face="Times New Roman"><font color="#919191">| Doctoral Candidate<br></font></font></span></div><div><b style="color:rgb(0,51,102);font-family:tahoma">UCLA </b><font style="font-family:helvetica;font-size:medium" color="#919191"><font style="font-family:"times new roman";font-size:13px">DEPARTMENT OF SPANISH & PORTUGUESE</font></font><span style="font-family:tahoma;font-size:13px"><font face="Times New Roman"><font color="#919191"><br></font></font></span></div><div><span style="font-family:tahoma;font-size:13px"><font face="Times New Roman"><font color="#919191">Senior Research and Instructional Technology Consultant (RITC)</font></font></span></div><div><font style="font-size:13px" face="Tahoma"><b><font color="003366">UCLA</font></b></font><font style="font-family:"times new roman";font-size:13px"><font color="0000FF"> </font><font color="#919191">CENTER FOR</font></font><font style="font-family:helvetica;font-size:medium" color="#919191"><span style="font-size:13px;font-family:"times new roman""> </span><font style="font-family:"times new roman";font-size:13px">DIGITAL HUMANITIES</font></font></div><div><font style="border-collapse:separate;font-size:13px" color="#919191" face="Times New Roman"><a href="mailto:wpkurtz@ucla.edu" style="color:rgb(17,85,204)" target="_blank">wpkurtz@ucla.edu</a><a href="http://goog_762557734" target="_blank"><br></a></font></div><div><font style="border-collapse:separate;font-size:13px" color="#919191" face="Times New Roman"><a href="http://www.wendyperlakurtz.com" target="_blank">www.wendyperlakurtz.com</a><br></font></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>
