<p>Dear UMap-Webadmins,</p>
<p>rearding my iframe-embedded UMap i got a legal question: Isn't it
necessary to have an official contact linked from every web page
due to <a
href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electronic_Commerce_Directive_2000"
moz-do-not-send="true">european laws</a> (<a
href="https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loi_pour_la_confiance_dans_l%27%C3%A9conomie_num%C3%A9rique#Notion_de_%C2%AB_commer%C3%A7ant_%C3%A9lectronique_%C2%BB"
moz-do-not-send="true">[1]</a>, <a
href="https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Impressumspflicht"
moz-do-not-send="true">[2]</a>)? Could someone help me figure
out, what I should link / add to our NGO website's "Impressum" to
address that the UMap is embedded as IFrame? Or is umap something
special, since it is non-commercial?<br>
</p>
<p>The german <a href="https://umap.openstreetmap.de/"
moz-do-not-send="true">umap Homeapge</a> has "Impressum" and
"Datenschutzerklärung" - why aren't such links on the top-level
homepage present on the french version? Or would every single map
need a visible link as e.g. in the footer of CyclOSM served by OSM
France (screenshot below)? If I'd add such a link via
UMap-settings as "credits", what would be the correct page as link
target? Is the organization at <a class="moz-txt-link-freetext"
href="https://www.openstreetmap.fr/mentions-legales/"
moz-do-not-send="true">https://www.openstreetmap.fr/mentions-legales/</a>
also responsible for the french umap instance?<br>
</p>
