Hello List,
hello Peter,

LoroDux is only available in an alpha draft version and only in German.

I am working on a German installation instructions document that will explain how to include a map.osm file, what should fix your issues.

Please be patient, I will let you and the list know, as soon as there is an English version and instructions.

You will need all LoroDux files (now in a .zip file) and a 7zip installation.

LoroDux only works with Bluetooth GPS receivers, internal GPS devices are not supported yet.

Sources are GPL on sourceforge.

Anyone able to understand German might want to join the mailing list blindennavigation-subscribe at lists.openstreetmap.de .

Cheers
Lulu-Ann

Betreff: [Accessibility] LoroDux

  Hello,
On friday I have found out your initiative to build a multi platform
accessible GPS navigation application.
Being eager to try it out on my phones I've immediatelly downloaded the
file LoroDux.jar and installed to bothe the phones I have got the access to.
These are Nokia E52 and Nokia 6220 classic.
Installation went smoothly on both the devices. I've chosen to install
into the memory card rather than into the phone memory.
As I've tried to start the application from the menu It displayed its
window for a second "wilkommen" was the only word I've managed to read
using either mobile speak or talks and then it dissapeared.
I had an idea this might be some bug to do with my device locale
settings so I've changed that to english but it does not seem to help.
I cant start the application. The only thing I can get out of it is that
window which only flashes for a second and then the app closes.

Is there something I can try and help to fix this issue?

Greetings

Peter
