[Accessibility] Accessibility Digest, Vol 37, Issue 1

Hi and thanks to Lulu-Ann for the incentive.

I subscribed more than a year ago and since then the traffic went down, so
I forgot about the list. But my initial expectations (which was to listen
on any interesting debate concerning the usage of OSM in accessibility
field) transformed a little into a more specific mode.

I started a project on my faculty whose aim is to combine OSM
functionalities and sources with local map sources from the city technical
office. I want to give a routing tool to people who have specific needs for
the movement through the city.

The project is similar to RollstuhlRouting and Handimap.org, but different
in the means of acquiring the data. That should be done through a gaming
layout in similar fashion as geocaching.

Hooray for finding a use for geocaching (you know, especially *in-city *
geocaching)!

That's my story. If anyone wants to support the idea, You're welcome.

For my background:
- doing master's in Biomedical engineering
- some experience in Java, Ruby, Ruby on Rails
- resident in Prague, Czech Republic

Jiri
