Sounds like we'll be awash in ads for events if we include every event that
either seeks, or can claim a history of international reach. What would
you suggest to exclude an event from advertising on osm.org front page?
Should any event be added to the mix? Or only events that include
OpenStreetMap in the name?
Should we be obliged to put up an ad for TED every time they ask, or only
if they have an OpenStreetMap talk scheduled? How about Hannover Fair, or
Maker Fest? Both would be of interest to some portion of OpenStreetMap
contributors and developers.
