That's similar with the gpsdrive icons. Some are drawn by myself and some are 
not. We might want to introduce a structure to the icons. In gpsdrive we 
already started with a structuring. This leaves the possibility to later make 
icon themes too. But for now I would be glad to get a complete iconset for 
the mose wanted/needed POIs.
Maybe we can start a structured icon pool inside the SVN.
what about 
 svn.openstreetmap.org/data/icons/frameless/
including the gpsdrive icons to
 svn.openstreetmap.org/data/icons/square.big/

Maybe with combining both iconsets we can get a pretty good start.
