I'm currently trying to read it with check_osm.pl and the only way I don't run 
out of memory is by limiting it to a small area. But still then it stops 
somewhere because of wrong UTF-8 characters. Problem is: it stops after 
sucking all memory and CPU for 10 minutes. So it takes some time to find out 
all the UTF-8 errors.
