[OSM-dev] Projection code

We're talking about projections in general, and specifcally the faults
with projections that assume the Earth is a sphere.  Yeah, the set of
"zoned" projections in the Universal Transverse *Mercator* system also
assume the Earth is spherical.

So more accurately -- I'm pointing out workable (if faulted) projection
code that was ported to Ruby and comitted to the OSM SVN repository
almost a year ago.
