This does not seem a very compelling argument. It might very well
be that nobody in GIS is using beziers because they began
constructing their data set at a time when using beziers was
computationally too hard. That is a burden Openstreetmap
doesn't share.

I think the argument there are more pressing needs right no is much
more sound :)

Which brings me to a second question : I want to start uploading
a few segments to the openstreetmap but would prefer trying it out
on a test server first instead of the real one. Is there one?
