We need to talk about indexes too, if we want to use the compact binary format 
OJW introduced, we need some library to indexes lat/lon values to offsets. 
The best could be in a spatial partition index, but it seems there are only 
few free implementation ramonly-oriented.
Howewer in the next days i will try to store the last planet.osm in a bdb, i'm 
just curious to see how much big it will be.
