[OSM-dev] [patch] osmarender fixups.

Folks,

I've been having a look through the osmarender code. Attached patch does
following:

1. Calculate $projection automatically from latitude. Unfortunately I live
at a latitude where the current default is almost exactly correct. I'd
appreciate feedback from people who are used to maps where 1.6 is obviously
wrong, and from people in the southern hemisphere (if there are any)

2. Correct the length of the 1km scale. This was out by a factor of
$projection. (because although it's drawn horizontally, it's length is
calculated using latitudes)

3. Tweak the appearance of the scale to show subdivisions. Any objections?

4. Add a template to draw a 1km grid over the map. This is commented out by
default, as I don't think everybody will want this, and it needs to be a bit
smarter. Consider it a work in progress.

Maybe I should have split this up into separate patches as they are all
independent. It's late now though.

Rob
