[OSM-dev] Import planet.osm to rails

Hi,

I've just setup the rails site on my computer to have a play with it.
The good news is it all works!

The bad news is that I can't figure out how to import the latest planet.
There seems to be a variety of scripts and programs that are supposed
to do this, but none of them seem to work.

For instance, I tried osmosis but it said: "java.sql.SQLException:
Field 'user_id' doesn't have a default value".

The perl script seems to die on an import, and looks well out of date.

So what should I be using?
