[OSM-dev] Creating lowzoom tiles

Could someone please run me through the process of creating and uploading lowzoom tiles? I have the software intalled and configured, but I am having trouble running lowzoom.pl. What exactly should I be using for the x, y and z arguments?

I thought

 lowzoom 3765 2465 11

should do something useful, but I am just getting the usage info. There seems to be virtually no doco for this?
