Sure, that's definitlely a must. I just did not include them as it will yet another call to the API for a z6 area. Given that fetching the data is the biggest slice of time for rendering I didn't want to include any additional overhead while things like coastlines don't work. (Especially the highway=... call takes long)

Including railsways is as easy as including another osmxapi URL with a railway=rail filter.
