Good morning,
I am trying to import the planet into ArcGIS by using the Python Script
"geometrybag" developed.
The script seems to work nicely until after around 6 hours it stops leaving
different error messages,a unusable database and a frustrated user. I tried
to run the UTF8sanitizer to correct the planet.osm but failed. The reason
is, that i don't understand what this means:
Jonas Svenson explained the usage of the UTF8sanitizer like this.
Usage (assuming bash):
UTF8sanitizer <sourcefile >destfile 2>errors.txt
I haven't really assumed a bash yet and don't know what this means, maybe
someone can help me.
I hope it's easy . Could this be a solution at all?
