Any idea what this user name should look like?

Looking at the node history I'm seeing a number of different 
representations, I'm wondering if it's ever been handled properly:

Representation 1:
user="jos透 "

Representation 2 (note that I can't even paste this one from firefox 
into thunderbird properly):
user="jos逕p
"

Representation 3:
user="jos送]"

The osmosis version looks the sanest ;-)
