Thanks for putting that up so quickly.

I needed the attached tweaks to your Makefiles to get things to compile ok. You probably ought to make install the libs you've compiled yourself, or apt-get install libexpat1-dev libshp-dev

I haven't tried running your code yet. I need to figure out what the 8 parameters it needs are....

Artem, Rob,

I've updated SVN with the latest version of my code (a bit messy since it's at 
the 'experimenting' stage at the moment). srtm2shp is under utils/srtmshp. It 
needs the updated libosm in libs. Let me know if you get errors compiling. 
The makefiles will need tweaking.
