Hi all

 As discussed on IRC there seem to be some combinations of OSM data that
make inkscape eat up *all* RAM when rendering there.

Not so. It's just a bug in the string handling of invalid UTF8
characters, leading to this behaviour.

So if you have a tiles at home client running with a mem usage in excess of
 a few hundred MB you might want to check the area it's rendering for
UTF8 errors.
